I have been spending numerous times on the net these days because I just cannot decide which things to get in preparation for my friend's bridal shower that I shall be hosting. It is the least I could do for my friend who will soon become a bride and this is the only kind of gift that I could think of that she is going to be capable to remember forever. I tried to talk to her less due to the fact I preferred to make it a bit extra unique. I do not want to make it seem like something that she decided on since it will be my gift for her anyway so I am in control.
The first thing that I've been deciding on is what theme to use for the bridal shower that I am throwing for her. She is a very comical and hilarious person so why not go with a tea party similar to the Mad Hatter from Alice In Wonderland?
Food should not be a problem since it's just going to be a tea party. Heart tarts, chocolate cupcakes with cherry on top, cookies with jelly frosting and chocolate-dipped strawberries and cherries should do the trick. If they come craving for something salty, I can come up with a few sandwiches and pizza bites, too. As for the drinks, basically tea, coffee, hot or cold chocolate and fresh fruit juices should do the trick. OF course, I won't forget to include the tags "Drink me!" and "Eat me!" on food and drinks to make it look more genuine as is in the movie.
The fancy teacups, teapots, plates, table cloth, paper lanterns and flowers will complete the entire Mad Hatter's Tea Party-themed bridal shower. Needless to say, anyone should come in their particular craziest hat. The crazier and sillier, the better. I still do not know if I am going to be providing the bride-to-be that has a crazy hat or maybe I should just ask her to come in her craziest hat at the same time. She isn't going to have any idea what model of bridal shower I'm throwing for her so this one must be a blast.
Only to make sure that the facts do not leak out to her, I did not tell any of the guests who will be attending the tea party with regards to my plans. Sometimes, as much as I want our other friends to support me out with this but I just can't help to keep it to myself because I've the demand to surprise my friends particularly the soon-to-be-bride even just this as soon as.
I've nearly completed my list of things to do and what to get. The only thing left to do is to go shopping for them. I find the World Wide Web extremely useful and helpful in finding the motif that I want for my surprise tea party/bridal shower for my friend.
